The city annually celebration
The settlement of Craiova appears under this name, first in the inscription on the tomb of Vladislav I, then on June 1, 1475, in a charter of the Lord of the Romanian Land Laiotă Basarab. As a result, around June 1, every year, we celebrate Craiova city days. For a week, in all the squares and parks of the city, various events take place: an exhibition of works of art, performed by the students of the high school of art from Craiova, workshops for the little ones, organized by the theater for children and youth "Colibri", exhibitions of old images from Craiova, car show in Theatre Square, fair of handmade objects and creative workshop organized by the Carusel Project Association in the Civic Center, Food Truck Festival in Mihai Viteazu Square, Tour of historic houses organized by Monumentalist, theater performances, symphonic and popular music concerts and many many other surprises organized by the city administration.
